We are a family-owned small artisan business featuring Indian block printed home decor products. Our signature style combines modern, garden inspired prints with traditional Indian block printing. Each design is hand -drawn, carved onto wooden blocks and printed by skilled artisans - ensuring every piece is unique.
From tablecloths and napkins to washbags and oven mitts, Maya H brings a slice of India into English homes - where heritage and modern living come together beautifully.
Once our designs have been created, wooden blocks are cut which separate the design into its different elements. This is because all the different colours, motifs and borders have to be printed separately for each product.
Next, the printing begins. The dyes are mixed and the tablecloths are created, building up the pattern in many layers until our design is fulfilled. This process can take up to several days.
Once this is complete, the colours are fixed to ensure they do not fade. The finished product is a result of expert technique, skill and artistry.
